Not postponing and not waiting for an opportunity because of the crisis, but grasping today any chance of getting on with our daily activities in an efficient, innovative and creative way. This is also BEYOND THE MOON's vision! • For the second year in a row, Beyond the Moon has been chosen as the preferred charity of Koddaert Ladies Open 2009 tennis tournament in Torhout, Belgium. This successful tournament will  be held from 4-11 April 2009, the entry is free of charge. For more information, surf to: www.koddaertladiesopen.be. Like last year, their objective is to render their support very tangible for some families with a sick child from their community or the neighbourhood. 
• Sabine Appelmans, Belgium (ex-professional tennis player) participated to the Radio 2 quiz programme "Quiz 't"  in January 2009 and offered to Beyond the Moon the returns of her participation amounting to €625.
• Ramada Hotel Kassel City Center, Germany organised in 2008 a year-end raffle and donated €816.10.
• Familotel Feldberger Hof, Germany transferred €515.82.
• Corinthia Hotel Lisbon, Portugal collected €485.86.
• Passage Fitness First Mechelen, Belgium is going to organise a fundraising action, together with Beyond the Moon, for and with club members and nearby companies. "Let's sport to Casablanca in 8 hours". What the 5 tourist bikers from Mechelen and nearby will do in 3 weeks, the club will try to achieve in 8 hours. A true challenge!  The DCM-Bikemarathon of 3600 km by 5 tourist bikers heads to Casablanca (Morocco) and will be held from 13 June to 5 July 2009 in favour of various charities, amongst others Beyond the Moon. Individuals, service clubs, companies, etc. can make a donation (per km) or offer a sponsoring to the benefit of Beyond the Moon. Interested? Please contact our office.
• Utopolis Mechelen and Lommel, Belgium donated an amount of €130.82.
• vzw Testedoene Toneelkring transferred an amount of €250.
• The Century 21 real estate-agents, Belgium were invited to offer their empty toners and ink cartridges, as well as old mobile phones, to Beyond the Moon. Our partner Recyca, Belgium takes care of the logistics and transfers to our charity a contribution per collected item.
